This richly textured abstract painting is part of a series inspired by the power I feel in nature, in tree roots, corals, new seeds sprouting up. It's around the idea of coming back to life, something I feel I (we?) need so much in this complex and fragile time.
Mixed media artwork, made with acrylic colors, paper, polyurethane, pearlescent pigments, inks.
Size: 14.2x19.7x0.04 (36x50x0.1cm) on heavyweight (300 g/m2) Canson paper (grain torchon, 60% cotton).
Please note: it's mounted on extra thick off white mount (with white core and backing card) - size mounted: 40x54x0.5cm.
