Artist Statement
This abstract landscape tondo drives me to childhood memories. I loved to sit on the shore of a river, watching the flow and the birds flying so close over the surface of the water. That feeling of calmness and happiness is so fulfilling.
Mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands.
Size: 39.4" diameter x 0.7" thickness (100 cm diameter x 1.8 cm thickness) on wrapped canvas.
