Artist Statement
This abstract painting, created with rose gold metallic pigments and dark acrylic color brings both a sense of great energy and of enchantment. In creating it I was inspired by the shimmering lights on the rivers at sunset in winter, where the atmosphere seems to be engulfed in gold.
The surface is created with sand and paper. It's then painted with acrylic colors, metallic pigments and glossy varnish that emphasises the pale rose gold tones and the black shadows.

It's signed on the back and ready to hang. This work is offered framed with a white wood, American floating-type frame.
Being richly textured gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. Also, the metallic pigments and the varnish allow the painting to shine in different ways depending on the light of the room.
