Artist Statement
This abstract landscape painting is inspired by those fulfilling relationships between two people and how our wellbeing is interconnected to that of the other one.
The blue waves, ripples, almost imperceptible touches in the canvas represent that inner dialogue, primarily with ourselves and then with our companion. My hope is that there's a way to find balance, to give and take and enjoy life together along the way.
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands.
Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size: 47.1x23.6x1.4" (120x60x3.5cm) on wrapped canvas. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
