Artist Statement
Ledesma works on unplanned subjects, elements, emotions, life experiences, which belong to his subconscious. He's always experimenting, in order to get different textures and color mixtures. He uses the regular oils, but changes constantly from one solvent to another.An abstract composition inspired in horses, in black, toasted sienna and a bit of green colors, depicting an image of the head of the equine. Painted with Oil Dispersion, an original and unique painting technique discovered and developed by the artist. Watch carefully the details and textures which invite the spectator to remain in front of the painting and deepen into the artwork. The original and colorful artwork of Francisco Ledesma is inspired in nature, and shows attractive areas which are plenty of fractal textures and tremendously rich details.
