Artist Statement
Exploring movement 8 is part of a series of works that all incorporate the same elements but treated in different ways to create unique pieces of work.
All of these pieces are based on the use of geometric shapes and abstract mark making to create a sense of movement within the work. The idea was to use the juxtaposition between these shapes and the mark making so that the two elements could sit together to create simple balance.
