Artist Statement
Lost Source 6 is part of a small series of work that strips it back to a simple colour palette and single geometric shapes with line work to create a juxtaposition within the work.
These pieces bring together hand made shapes which have been photographed and found imagery alongside various transparencies to create these works.
Printed as a one of a kind fine art giclee print on Hahnemühle German etch 310gsm paper.

As a self taught artist all my artwork is inspired by music and also from what I see on an everyday basis, from colour and texture to shape and form. All my work is inspired by the music I am listening to whilst im working; as it is such an integral part of my creative process, it influences anything from the colours and shapes I choose to the overall direction and tone of the piece. I also draw a lot of inspiration from the worldwide graffiti scene and the lifestyle and culture that is hip hop; bringing together layers of colour, shape and texture to create unique pieces of work.
