From an original artwork molded with cellulose on a wood board, I create with a mold up to 25 editions made out of polyurethan resin on a wood board, hand-finished in different ways.
This wall sculpture is gilded with golden leaf and then burnished with jewish bitumen. The bitumen collected in the recesses enhances the relief and gives an overall warm shade to the golden leaf.
A coat of shellac (brilliant, natural varnish), ptotects the surface from dust and oxidation.
109 x 47 x 3 cm
(The interior views are to approx. scale).
The artwork is ready to hang with 2 hidden hooks, the wall hardware is supplied.

Based in: Rome
After attending the High School of Art I moved onto European Institute of Design in Rome and graduated in illustration.
I find inspiration for my artworks through a close, attentive look of nature.
I focus on a particular organic texture, wood, bark, vegetable, animal or the shape of a rock and I bring it in the circumscripted space of an artwork.
Sometimes city landscape as well offers me a suggestion, such as the uneven cobblestones of the city I live in or the fascination of a peeling crackle wall.
I like playing with patina on metal finishes, since the oxydation is always unpredictable and unique and gives distinctiveness to each piece.
Through my website I collaborate with collectionists, art consultants and interior designers, creating bespoke pieces of art custom designed for each project.
