From my original artwork Woodcuts #4, molded with cellulose on a wood board, I create a limited edition of 25 pieces made out of urethan resin on a wood board, metal patina finished.
Each sculpture has a 'Certificate of Authenticity' signed and numbered by the artist.
The edition number is also applied on the back of the wall sculpture by hand.
This second edition is coated with a reactive copper varnish, then chemically oxidized to obtain a verdigris patina.
A coat of sealer protects the surface from further oxidation.
A matt final varnish adds extra protection to the surface of the artwork.
The relief is ready to hang with 4 hidden hooks, the wall hardware is supplied.
91 x 91 x 1.5 cm
(interiors views are to approx. scale)
weight 7.5 kg / 16.5 lbs

Based in: Rome
After attending the High School of Art I moved onto European Institute of Design in Rome and graduated in illustration.
I find inspiration for my artworks through a close, attentive look of nature.
I focus on a particular organic texture, wood, bark, vegetable, animal or the shape of a rock and I bring it in the circumscripted space of an artwork.
Sometimes city landscape as well offers me a suggestion, such as the uneven cobblestones of the city I live in or the fascination of a peeling crackle wall.
I like playing with patina on metal finishes, since the oxydation is always unpredictable and unique and gives distinctiveness to each piece.
Through my website I collaborate with collectionists, art consultants and interior designers, creating bespoke pieces of art custom designed for each project.
