Artist Statement

Images printed on Fujiflex Crystal Archive silver halide photographic paper using a Lambda machine are shipped from NY.
Images printed on Photo Rag Baryta paper using a Canon 12 inks printer machine are shipped from Chile.

Went to Salinas de Pullally seashore. Scouting places to photograph near a cove, found these ponds formed within the rocks on the seashore line.
Apparently, someone had thrown a mattress to the sea. Guess that during a storm, the mattress was destroyed against the rocks.
The rocks pulled all fibers out from the upper cover. The water movement had violently laid them giving a calm surprising scene.
Images captured in many rolls of film and would return a few times during a 7-year span.
