About the art
Artist statement
I've combined several of my favorite pastimes within the painting. I love to write almost as much as I love painting. The scene reflects the calmness that I associate with writing, a seaside vista and a favorite cat. It also show how, as an artist I live surrounded by my own paintings. I also associate the wall color, a dusty warm pink with a mellow state. This painting is signed on the back and is wired for immediate hanging.
