A Warm Embrace is a minimal work that envelops the viewer with comfort, warmth and peacefulness. There is a subtle glow from its center which radiates gently to the dark edges. The work brings a sense of simplicity and order in a world that is cluttered with distractions, objects and ideas. The painting offers the viewer a mysterios and meditative moment when the mind can rest and take refuge. The simple composition evokes feeling of balance, harmony and aesthetic perfection - if there is such a thing. The image comprises thousand overlapping flecks, dots and lines that merge together into an energizing tapestry. When the painting is viewed in subdued lighting one sees new patterns and movements. The surface of the canvas is lightly textured with gesso and silica sand adding a sensual tactility. The work is signed on the back and is ready to hang.
