Inspired by the architectural forms, colours and shapes of East London, this abstract painting is informed by images captured as I wandered the streets, canals and waterways. With a slightly retro Modernist character, this painting has a harmonious palette of soft natural tones, deep, dark and soft greens, along with brighter flashes of warm yellow which lead the eye around the painting's surface.
