You already know that along with people and fish, I am interested in birds. I drew a huge variety of birds. I love them.
This is not a heron or a stork. It's just a bird. The bird is singing a song. Or whatever they call it. The bird is happy.
That's all you need to know about birds.
By and large, this is not even a picture. This is exactly the song.
The uniqueness of this work lies in the fact that it was drawn over several years on a piece of plywood. A layer of paint repeatedly applied and sanded. The canvas simply cannot physically hold and retain so much paint.
The result is a bright and very kind song. A song about a bird.
