We live in the amazing country of Singapore. There are officially 4 languages spoken here. English, Chinese, Indian, and Malay. And when we had a girl, she had such a bright, amazing mix of cultures around her. In this picture, I wanted to portray a girl with a European soul living in bright Asian beauty. By the way, there is a little secret hidden in this painting. A dwarf from a fairy tale lights up your way to a wonderful world.
“We all have forests on our minds. Forests unexplored, unending. Each one of us gets lost in the forest, every night, alone.” — Ursula K. Le Guin

I became an artist just before my daughter Alice was born. Yes, I was into the art since I was young. Yes, I attended art school for 7 years and then drew, painted, designed as part of my Degree and career in Architecture and Design. However, I only started calling myself an artist just before my daughter was born. While pregnant with her, I finally had the time to travelled extensively in pursuit of my art. I sharpened my skills under renowned artists at Central St. Martin’s College of Arts in London, the Ruskin School University of Oxford, and the Russian Academy of Arts.
Dance is a big part of my life. I was full time dancer for ten years. Doing choreography, making my own costumes. Picking dance skill along the way at LaSalle and ECNAD company.
My Art is reflection of me. It is complex-choreographed as a dance. Collages is made from the items I found while traveling and I think the ideas of collages are from dance costume making background. I like to think of myself as the creator of My own ideal world. Where I can be lost sometime. My very own Magical World!
