Artist Statement
Abstract large handmade painting inspired by Japanese landscapes.
Original acrylic painting on stretched canvas of 70x100x1,8 cm, without needing to be framed, (if you prefer the contemporary look), the edges being painted. The painting is varnished with UV satin varnish for a long lasting protection.
Unique, original art, signed on the back and ready to hang.
This is a one of a kind work and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The work will be carefully packed and shipped in a cardboard box.
Please know that the colors may slightly vary at the screen light.
The paintings are created through a process of building up and scraping layers of paint, with brush strokes interventions for some details and then pouring colored fluid glazes on canvas using a free gestural spontaneity.

Irina Vladau is a contemporary artist based in Italy, with the main field of expression in abstract painting.
Her art is inspired mostly by nature, music and mystery of life with joy and melancholy, dreams and reality, all fusing into one emotion. She had to develop over the time, her own artistic style, which better represents herself. Irina's late work deals with deconstructing ideas and recomposing stories in a subtle way. Irina's paintings stand at the intersection of a different perception of reality and express the multitude of possible answers, the artist finding in abstract painting more ways to expressing the imaginary space. The result is the interplay between light and shadow, shapes and reflections, colors and textures. Everything is reflected, everything responds to everything.
Irina just wants to express her own vulnerable feelings and through her art she aims to touch people influencing the emotional response of viewers.
