We are thinking about creating a sound-sensitive artificial atom. It would be carried on top of anti-gravitational sound waves, floating upward while balancing out Earth’s gravitational field. Air bending is something we would all do (just yell, for god’s sake!) in a repeated pattern (sing out loud that melody that’s stuck in your head), yet in order to create such a particle, first we would need to agree on the visual representation of sound itself in the form of compressions and rarefactions within three-dimensional space. Where would the atom go? Up or down or would there be up or down at all—maybe up would be down and down would be up? What would the atom look like? As abstract as it gets, Turkish artist Cevdet Erek imitated the sound of the ocean by rubbing his hand on a carpet, and — we believe — this is essentially the outline: recreating nature at home. Imagine, you are sitting in the living room, watching TV, your preordered artificial atoms are circulating around you and you are bright like the Sun. Now that we are done with marketing, we only need to work on the function and the purpose.
