Artist Statement
This is a diptych of two paper panels measuring 12.45 x 8.5 inches each.
Conceptually based on the evolving understanding of gender identity, and the variances that do not fit into the traditional definition of the gender binary.
This piece also attempts to portray the evolution of roles traditionally identified gender binary individuals are getting to explore.
The silver metal leaf reflects light beautifully depending on the slight source.
'Binary Movement' is signed in the front, and comes with a signed 'Certificate of Authenticity', with details of the piece.
