About the art
Artist statement
The original is a 48" sq. Gallery canvas gives me the space I needed to create this far off misty Mountain abstract that I've had on my mind for a while.
The highly refined and esoteric, Japanese handmade Washi paper painted with acrylics, in colors mixed using centuries-old color mixing techniques, originally developed by Monks to portray the 'blush' of the Japanese Cherry Blossoms.
Visually weightless and soothing are two of the features I was striving for.
This piece is available transformed into an heirloom quality handmade custom rug by our Master Weavers.
