Artist Statement
Note: Each panel is 65cm in diameter, so you would need a wall space of at least 285cm in length to display the 3 panels.
I use Unknown Planets to describe most of my circular panel paintings as they are analogue representations of a different worlds drawn from my mind's eye, realms that are to be explored.
Blue, Yellow, Green is a tribute to Bertrand Lavier, he completed a series of paintings of these 3 colours at the age of 68. Knowing this brings me great joy as it meant I could have another 30 years of painting left in me. The celebration in these paintings is palpable and undeniable.

Born in Melaka, Malaysia, 1980, Jau Goh currently works and lives in Singapore. Jau is a mandala artist who started painting in 2011. An architect by training, she is interested in spatial composition in her work and prefers clean lines. She is concerned with producing works of beauty, joy and harmony, and hopes to spread those feelings with her art.
