This is an installation consisting of 60 x 90cm x 3 panels. They should be installed with at least 10cm gap between each panel. Minimum wall length recommended is 360cm. The panels are not framed but are ready for hanging (hangers installed behind)
I created the motifs for Wrapping. Reflections. Unfolding. in early 2017. https://instagram.com/p/BQe4A6rBe8C/ Playing with matt and gloss surface of a single colour.
Blue and Orange is an exercise in exploring the different colour combinations of the same motif and how it drastically changes our perception of the pattern.
When painting on timber suface, I often like to reveal the natural beauty and that was the concept when designing the motifs. To have a series of interconnecting triangles while not covering the entire panel with paint.T
