Artist Statement
This is an ongoing series of clouds.
In southeast Asia, clouds are just part of our life. We see them almost every day.
But when I am living in Dubai, the only time I see clouds usually are during the winter season. This is the first time I had seen a beautiful circle cloud that looks like a painting.

Jay uses photography as a form of art to express his creativity and social cause. With his background in the art & film industry, he loves to create different moods and feel to bring out the beauty in the subjects he shoots. As a commercial photographer and a film producer, he travels extensively and enjoys collaborating with creative minds.
His work for Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) was published in a series of books ‘Location Singapore’. On his personal work, he uses photography to bring awareness to social injustices for a better cause. He has recently showcased some of his work in a social movement in Singapore" The Best of You 2015" where he exhibited his work for this non-profit movement. He is the winner for Haper’s Bazaar Art Prize 2015 for his “Reflection” Series. Jay is also widely known in the social media space with his YouTube channel garnering more than 14,000 subscribers and more than a million hits for his top videos. He is currently based in Singapore and Dubai.
