Artist Statement
One of the drawings from a series of drawings - Everything is broken up and dances. The series arose spontaneously, following the rule that there are no rules. within the creative process, the search for content through artistic elements that "fight" to become forms in the final visualization of the image - drawing.

Based in: Zagreb
Jelena Sokić was born in Split, Croatia in 1980. From the years 2000-2002 she began to actively draw and paint realizing that this will become her occupation. 2005. Enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the 2010/11 school year he participates in the student exchange and spends the year in the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, Italy. All the time during the study and especially after graduation, he is actively part of different artistic events, participates in collective exhibitions and organizes solo exhibitions. As a medium of expression he uses painting, drawing, video, graphics, and also the combination of all.
