Artist statement
A song to the longest day... "Summer Solstice" embodies the lush, fruitful Italian summer, inspired by the flowing river under the canopy of green in my Italian town. A vertical window into bountiful nature in a palette of deep green, violet, yellow and white. With a dynamic light and perspective, the hint of water and reflection. An emerald. Concluded on the Summer Solstice.
