Artist Statement
"Take me to your river" is a sublime, ethereal, watery painting. It is a piece dedicated to the movement of water flowing down a river, or perhaps down a windowpane in the rain. It is painted in many layers of translucent color, some of which are slightly metallic, and the painting seems to glimmer and move on the wall.
It is a painting full of dynamic space and depth, offering imagined landscapes and vistas. It also has a marked sensual nature.
This painting is mounted in a simple white floater frame. The framed dimensions of the painting are 54 x 74 x 4.
