Artist statement
For the first time I saw live flamingos in Cuba in a place called Kaya Coco. The birds stood gracefully in a small pond. Every day we went to admire them. 10 years have passed since that time and the desire to paint them did not fade away ... and here they are - beautiful birds - on canvas)
