Artist Statement
As an artist, the way I have to understand things has always been the same... and it is making art.
This is how I go through my life.
Our thoughts and beliefs create an emotion, this creates a sensation, and slowly this is how we build up our personalities.
All this is so complex and so subtle that it is almost impossible to notice it.
I am obsessed with nature.
I use nature in my work because it shows the impermanence of everything specially beauty which its a paradox.
What I want people to see with my work is the fact that we are here just for a brief amount of time and how magnificent life is, so beautiful and powerful no matter how bad our circumstances sometimes could be.
For me, life is a dream; it is so difficult to catch a moment in our minds and keep still. It is always in constant change and this fact is very hard to accept, especially for me.
