Artist Statement
Aren't we all waiting for Spring? I do for sure! I can't wait to see bright colours hidden in green gras, maybe a dash of a spring sprinkle - and after it everything is even more glowing.
My Spring Sessions pictures I painted in this sentiment!
Anticipating! Knowing that our longing will be fullfilled very soon.
I painted this work with acrylic colours and spray paint on heavy acrylic paper.
The frame in the "in situ" photograph is just an example. It is not included in the price.
The work is protected by a satin varnish.
In inches the work is 23.6 x 19.7 x 0.1. This includes a 1 cm (0.39 inches) rim around the artwork.

Artist Profile
Born: 1955
Hometown: Bad Mergentheim
Based in: Kempten
Karin Goeppert is a German artist. She sees that life is a largely subjective experience acting as a bridge to the objective world, and it’s this synthesis of the two that she is trying to capture.
The self-taught artist took classes over the years at the Art Academy of Bad Reichenhall. She loves experimenting and want to give her works an individual expression. On one hand, she loves painting almost realistic, somewhat utopian, nature images; and on the other hand, she enjoys doing non-objective/abstract art. She is inspired by the beauty and power of natural phenomena, the mystery of nature, its colours and forms. Every painting is a one-of-a-kind work in which she tries to combine feeling and thought. She works most of the time with acrylics but she also mixes acrylics with other media such as oil pastel, soft pastel, spray paint, graphite and charcoal or ink.
