The tower was designed on the basis of the prescriptions of a detailed plan in 1953 by Giovanni and Lorenzo Muzio.
Giovanni Muzio (1893 – 1982) was an Italian architect, the most representative exponent of the twentieth century artistic movement and in general of the traditionalist movement that characterized the Italian architecture of the 1920s and 1930s, in rivalry with rationalism.

Started her career by assisting other professional photographers in studio and on set, while simultaneously caring visual art projects through a variety of media.
After gaining extensive experience, started working as a professional photographer, collaborating with architectural studios, galleries and magazines.
Her works visually analyze space, its historical architecture and have been featured in Interni Magazine, Casa Vogue, ElleDecor, ArchDaily, Plataforma Arquitectura, Archilovers, Divisare, RIBA Journal, Cereal Magazine, amongst others.
In 2018 the book Monte Amiata Housing by Carlo Aymonino and Aldo Rossi was published by Divisare Books.
In 2019 she was selected by ArchDaily and ElleDecor in the list of 12 women professional photographers whose work is essential to communicate architecture representation.
