Artist Statement
This oil pastel drawing is the second of the new series called Highland Witches, which is focused on women and their inner powers. From folklore of Scottish Isles to struggles of modern world, this series are inspired by all that is life. Most importantly it highlights the connection with nature and earth that we are sadly seam to be loosing.
