Artist Statement
The theme of this work is primal longing for the sky. I composed this work with the Tower of Babel, the dream of forerunners and the bird as motifs, and deformed the painting of the Tower of Babel that Pieter Bruegel had painted.
This work is painted on a square wood panel, 72.7 cm (height) x 100.0 cm (width) x 3.5 cm (thickness). Also this work has a frame, 83.0 cm (height) x 110.5 cm (width) x 5.0 cm (thickness).

He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University.
He is the current chairman of Seisu-Kai, an art association base at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum of Ueno.
Recently, he submitted his works to the Japan Graohic Exhibition, the Kodobijutsu Exhibition, the Chiba Exhibition, etc. He has been submitting to the Seisu Exhibition since 1998 all along. Also, he submitted to the AJAC Exhibition, the TEPCO Energy Award Exhibition, the Tokyo Art Collection Exhibition of R. Koiso Grand Prize, the Chiba Prefectural Art Exhibition, etc.
