“I am” is a show about the importance of vulnerability and self-connection. Each time we open a new chapter of our lives, we find ourselves swallowed up by internal dialogues. “Will I succeed?” “Will I make a mistake?” “Will I embarrass myself?” “How do I make everything perfect?” But self-satisfaction and happiness are only achieved if we allow ourselves to accept the uncertainties of life. Nothing is certain. We will make mistakes. And there are always people around us - our family, our friends, our community – that we can reach out to and seek help from. To connect with. The thesis of this show is to remind us that we are all worthy of love and belonging - if we allow ourselves to be seen. In that sense, I am. Not alone.
