Artist Statement
Bubbling Up 1j17 is an abstraction made from a very small detail of the reflections on the water in another image (Esplanade 3 - Impending Storm 17b3), which I have rendered in many ways - each having a different coloration and including sometimes different details in the tiny variations in the reflected surface, but all conveying the same general feeling of a wild chaotic dance of particles leaving the surface of a liquid when boiling or of gasses escaping the frenetic surface of a plasma such as the sun. It's the movement and energy I'm trying to convey, and if they have a point of inspiration, I suppose it is Jackson Pollack's work.
Please note - due to Covid-19 limitations still affecting me, delivery will take about 3-4 weeks depending on destination country.
