Artist statement
Geometric 2021 - 218a2 is an abstraction of a kaleidoscopic image. The initial main image (2021 - 218) has several variations, each limited to 3 prints per version, and all are supposed to evoke the stained glass of a church or cathedral. In this version (2021 - 218a2), I have kept the colors close to the original main image, but added more exposure to the aqua elements in the background, so they have equal importance with the black triangular elements, which they dd not in the main mage which stressed the black triangular elements.
