About the art
Artist statement
Incandescent Light Bulb 1a is an abstraction of the lighted filaments in a clear light bulb. The main image (this version, 1a) has quite a few variations, each limited to 3 prints except the this version (1a) which is an edition of 10. In this, the main version I have emphasized the brightness of the reds and yellows of the image, and forced the filaments themselves to become white to indicate its glowing hotness. This is print #2/10 (#1/10 is sold)
