About the art
Artist statement
Incandescent Light Bulb 1a11 is an abstraction of the lighted filaments in a clear light bulb. The main image (1a) has quite a few variations, each, limited to 3 prints except the 1st (main) version (1a) which is an edition of 10. In this version (1a11), I have made the glowing filament dark, as though it weren't giving off any light at all, and have the background lit in just pale greens and yellows, to emphasize the form of the filaments and its their support structures.
