About the art
Artist statement
Incandescent Light Bulb 1a7 is an abstraction of the lighted filaments in a clear light bulb. The main image (1a) has quite a few variations, each, limited to 3 prints except the 1st (main) version (1a) which is an edition of 10. In this version (1a7), I have kept the filaments very bright, but have darkened the background to eliminate the glow and even, seemingly, the light given off by the bulb, as though only the filament itself had any light.
