About the art
Artist statement
Prost, Mondrian! 21c7 is a pixilated abstraction of a tiny part of another image (Central Park Pond 4a) which I see as an homage to Mondrian, reminiscent, to me at least, of his very famous Broadway Boogie Woogie. In this version, 21c7, of the main image (Prost, Mondrian! 21) it is reminiscent too of some of the feelings and motifs of Navajo art of the American Southwest, and of the Mohave and Sonoran deserts themselves
