About the art
Artist statement
Reflection Off a Glossy Surface 1d2 is an abstraction of a reflection of a part of a building on a shiny surface in my apartment. This is an extreme close-up, as the image portrayed represents about 1square inch. There are several versions of the main image (Reflection Off a Glossy Surface 1), each limited to 3 prints per version. the main version is shown vertically and is mostly a study in color and boundaries between colors and is not meant top represent any actual object, However, in this version (1d2), I have turned the image 90 degrees, so the line flows horizontally, and it is meant to appear as a breaking ocean wave.
