Artist Statement

The Through a Glass Darkly series are abstractions of images and reflections in a wine glass lit in various ways, and partially filled to refract the light differently. In this version, 4a2, of the main image (The Through a Glass Darkly Series 2 -4), I have darkened the background considerably, and reduced its coloration from a deep brownish red to shades of gunmetal gray, and the bright red of the central shape , mid-left, has been rendered in burgundy.

Note - this work is offered in 4 sizes -- 20” H x 15” W // 24” H x 18” W // 30” H. x 22.4” W //. 40” H x 30” W -- but is limited to 3 PRINTS TOTAL FOR ALL 4 SIZES COMBINED Whichever size prints are purchased, when 3 prints have been made, this version of this image will be "Sold Out
