Wood 25b is an abstraction of part of the trunk of a very famous tree (Stumpy) that once stood in Madison Park in NYC. In this version of Wood 25, I have left the coloration exactly as it was on the tree stump (in other versions, I have altered the coloration either in saturation, or in actual color, to produce altered or heightened effect). This coloring of the trunk was not paint, but actual weathering of the wood through age and elements
