Artist Statement
This painting is part of the "Fragmented Memory" series that was inspired by places Khalid has never been to, but read about in novels. He called this painting “Forgetting Granada”. He made it in July 2020. The medium is oil on canvas of size 47x71 inches (120x180 cm).
He has signed it on the front. The stretched canvas is staple free sides, wired on the back and with no need for framing. It's ready to hang.
