Artist statement
This is an abstract painting; part of the "Fragmented Memory" series.
Here, Khalid was inspired by the cold and narrow alleys he used to walk through in city of Beirut in Lebanon. That was during his stay in 2004 when he first met the love of his life who later became his wife.
Khalid made the painting in February 2022. The medium is oil on canvas of size 39x47 inches (100x120 cm).
He signed it on the front. The stretched canvas is staple free sides, wired on the back and with no need for framing. It's ready to hang.
