Artist Statement
This is the photograph made with medium format camera, on BW film. The negative is
scanned and the image will be printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper.
The photograph belongs to my ongoing project called "Il Giardino / The Garden", which
was exhibited in my hometown Zagreb, Florida and Italy.

Ksenija Španec was born 1966, in Zagreb, Croatia. She started to explore photography quite late in life, first by using a digital camera which she replaced, very soon with film cameras.
Although her main focus is on flower and plant photography, subjects of her photography are various. She is a self taught photographer. She is a member of photographic association Kadar36 and Fotoklub Zagreb.
Ksenija exhibited in four solo and group exhibitions in her hometown Zagreb, in the USA , Italy, Istambul, Mexico, Argentina. Her photographs were published in various online and printed magazines.
