Artist Statement
If the pandemic has taught us anything I'm sure we could all agree it has taught us that our space is sacred.
Spending so much time indoors has helped many of us connect on a deeper level with the space that we create for ourselves and our families, and had us reassessing a lot of what we thought we needed in these spaces and what had to go.
The truth is, the space we maintain around us has a huge impact on our emotional, mental, and spiritual sense of balance, and wellbeing. The objects we surround ourselves with have the power to lift us up and can inspire in us a healthy mindset, sense of relaxation and security, and feelings of inner peace and calm.
This is the inspiration behind each of the works in The Unity Series, to bring art the inspires all of these feelings to your space, unifying the beauty you have inside you with your physical space, and creating an environment that will continue to support and enrich a healthy mind/body/spirit connection.

I am a 33-year-old artist from Connecticut. I graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a BFA in painting. In the past 10 years of my career I have worked with Paul Calendrillo Fine Art, NYC, Isis Pheonix Art, London, and currently Isabella Garrucho Fine Art, Greenwich CT. I have finally taken the next step of becoming a full-time self-employed artist and am looking forward to working for many years to come connecting with others and sharing the message my art offers.
The journey of self-discovery is both my motivation and process for making art. I believe art has the power to heal. Drawing inspiration from midcentury design and sacred art from around the world, each piece is a visual meditation on canvas that invites viewers into a sacred inner space to explore the mind/body/spirit connection, and to connect with inner space of peace, balance, and self-reflection. My intention harmony to the mind/body/spirit connection and offer a sense of personal empowerment, and light to spaces and viewers alike.
