About the art
Artist statement
This piece was began in 2013.
The piece is a plywood panel with divots and rubber disks as the background on which metal tape crisscrosses and pressed down leaves a impressionable surface both negative and positive, over which I wiped black oil paint.
This year I added foil leaf to the edge and back to add depth to the entire panel.
