Artist Statement

This disks is made out of foam board, a commercial sheathing material that I use from time to time. Being lightweight I mount the foam board on plywood. It has a reflective surface and is easy to cut and section with an exacto knife. Besides tape, graphite and paint this piece is leafed with a commercial green and gold leafing and oil stick on top.
