About the art
Artist statement
This is what I call a foam board painting, replacing traditional canvas with foam board.
The canvas replacement is an industrial material used for home insulation, here back with a plywood support with the corners rounded.
A composition of metallic insulating tape, and other fragments of foam board are organized as a background on which paint and foil leaf are applied.
