Artist Statement
QUERIDA was created out of someone's wheel throwing reject. I saw this pile of clay on the side of the wheel and it just talked to me. It was next to the pile for the sculpture CHANCE.
This piece tells me the story of two little creatures going on a joyous journey. A bird sits by their side, watching over them.
