<Facade>
When facing moments of numbness;
When facing the absurd present,
I wander the city,
Trying to find a stimulant for the soul amid the scenery;
Trying to find a future amongst memories.
For a moment, it is as if I could swim in the tranquillity found between the reality of now and what might be.
幻境
面對令人麻目的生活，
面對著令人荒誕的當刻，
藉著游走在城市的角落，
企圖舊城中找到刺激靈魂的麻醉劑，
企圖在回憶中找到未來。
有一刻，仿佛能夠沉醉於現實和理想落差之間的一小片寂靜和安慰。

Based in: UK/Hong Kong
Lewis LAU (b.1988) is born and based in Hong Kong. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Department of Fine Arts (BA in 2010 and MFA in 2012).
Always experiences the loneliness and insecure in different stage of life just like most of us nowadays, he transformed this status into oil painting. He paints from photographs which he finds suitable momentarily, but instead of copying them directly, he has chosen only the elements that are important to his feeling or memory, and captured the space with a symbolic object to represent the strolling life in the city.
劉彥韜(b.1988) 出生於香港。畢業於香港中文大學藝術系（2010年獲得學士學位，2012年獲得藝術碩士學位）。
就如現時大多數人一樣，人總是在不同的人生階段經歷孤獨和不安，他將這狀態轉化為油畫。他用認為合適現時狀態的照片作畫，但沒有直接複製它們，他只選擇對他的感覺或記憶很重要的元素，並用象徵性的對象捕捉空間，來描繪城市中的漫步生活。
